Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker International, LLC, is seeking a LiDAR Analyst/Assistant Project Manager (GIT Technical Specialist I), to join our Ridgeland, Mississippi office. The successful candidate will have a robust background in LiDAR processing, team management and mentoring/training of junior staff. The individual will be responsible for managing the complete project cycle with an emphasis on Mobile LiDAR processing - from planning to QC and completion. The primary responsibilities of the candidate will include LiDAR pre-proccesing, calibration, classification, adjustment, planimetric extraction, and preparation of deliverables in MicroStation, AutoCAD and GIS formats. Requirements: 4-year degree in Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Geography or related program 6
years of experience with LiDAR processing Computer Skills: Proficiency in MicroStation, GeoCue, TerraSolid (complete suite) and POSPac Preferences:
Working knowledge of other 3 rd party software packages (TopoDOT, VG4D, etc.)
Strong writing skills for preparation of articles and internal reports/documents
