Position OverviewThe Account/Operations Manager is an experienced professional self directing the activities to achieve service goals of their clients.
They will be the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business responsible for overall site quality, achieving sales goals and achieving renewal goals.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Employee ManagementImplements and utilizes the Gardener Training SeriesEvaluates crew leader performance Evaluates crew member performance Makes wage and compensation recommendations for field employeesCoordinates and communicates concerns between office and field operationsImplements and follows disciplinary actions and proceduresResponsible for morale of crew members Safety ManagementChooses topics and implements all Safety Tailgate Meetings, and fills outReport of Safety MeetingParticipates in the New Hire TrainingPerforms all vehicle and equipment inspectionsResponsible for identification of unsafe equipment or vehicles, and follows company safety recommendations Marketing and Sales ManagementIdentifies and suggests target properties for replacementImplements Job Start Ups with crew leadersIdentifies sales opportunities Field ManagementSchedule daily routes and add new jobs in proper orderManage Job Sequencing with crew leadersManage morning dispatch and afternoon returnMonitor time management with each crew as neededReview Landscape Management Report'sSupply crews with all needed equipment and material Train crews on fertilizing, spraying, and small plantings as directed by the Agronomic CalendarFill in as crew leader in their absenceManage performance expectations Quality ControlPerform Job Start Up Process with all crew leadersImplement Quality Inspection Process with crew leadersManage and drive the punch list process Equipment and Shop ManagementImplement, manage and track PM processDo minor repairs or take equipment to repair shopReport equipment abuseOpen and close shopSecure loaner or spare equipmentStock shop suppliesMonitor and check proper fuel mixtures for gas cansLock shop fuel pumpsKeep shop cleaned and organized Office and AdministrationAssist with time sheetsCoordinate client information between office and fieldCommunicate uniform, field, and office supply needsVerify Remedial Billing Schedules with officeAssist in providing a professional office environmentMaintain a clean and functional training area Be proactive in responding to deadlinesLicenses and PermitsProvide office with required information for vehicle and Drivers LicenseIf you feel you are qualified for this position, we would like to hear from you.
