Tennis Director Overview:
Tennis teaching professionals at the Club at Township are responsible for providing drills, lessons, and coach teams for Club members.
As a tennis professional, this position will support the Tennis Director in the development of tennis activity programming for various age groups and ability levels in this thriving tennis community.
There is a tremendous opportunity for lessons with high percentage income, benefits, 401(k) participation, clothing allowance and employer sponsorship of USPTA or PTR dues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or ability required.
Coach players, provide private lessons, oversee practice sessions, and run tennis clinics.
Assist in the creation of various mixers and/or tennis events at the Club as well as to represent the Club as a tennis professional at these events.
Assist in any tennis education that is requested in concert with Club events such as the annual summer camp for children ages 4 to 12.
Work closely with the Pro Shop Coordinator for all tennis program scheduling Address any court condition or equipment needs with the appropriate maintenance personnel; assist in court safety so as to ensure member enjoyment of the facility.
Other duties as assigned by the Tennis Director ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The position reports to the Managing Partner of the Club at Township and CLUB4 Fitness directly, but also recognizes the General Manager of the Club as having rights of governance over the role as it has to do with Club members and Club facilities/equipment.

Hard working, goal oriented, enthusiastic, and energetic.
Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision Results-oriented with high degree of professionalism Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ease working closely with multiple age groups.
Strong time management skills 2) Minimum certifications/education/experience level:
Previous tennis coaching experience required.
A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Full or in-process USPTA and/or PTR certification required.
Full or in-process USPTA and/or PTR certification required.

Unregulated air temperature and humidity outside on tennis courtsRegular standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, stretching, lifting, running, jumping, repetitive arm swings and other physical activity are required while performing the duties of the role.
Some sitting, close reading, and typing may be required while performing the duties of the role.
The noise level is generally low but may be louder and more intense during group activities.
Some travel may be required.
Hours are generally traditional Gym Facility hours but may, at times, extend to long or late hours to accommodate special events and/or special requests for lessons in the early morning or late evening.

About the Company:
CLUB4 FITNESS.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
