Overview:
The Accountant, Regulatory Compliance monitors, analyzes, and audits the financial transactions, records, and statements of the company and advises on the best practices and policies to comply with regulatory requirements.
This person also assists in the preparation and submission of the required reports and filings to the regulatory agencies and authorities.

Qualifications:
REQUIREDBachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting or related degree required.
Licensed CPA or CPA eligible required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment required.
Strong data analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality required.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and prioritize effectively required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill required.
PREFERREDMPA or MBAPrior experience in regulatory compliance accounting, auditing, or consulting in the telecommunications industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge of the accounting principles, standards, and practices in the telecommunications industry preferred.
Knowledge of the federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and rules that govern the telecommunications industry preferred.
Proficiency in the accounting software, tools, and systems strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods while viewing computer screen, use computer keyboard, and/or mouse.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
