Route Sales Manager - Reports To:
General Manager - Purpose of Job Regularly service existing customers on an established route.
Responsible for replacing, billing batteries that have been sold by the customer.
Rotate consigned stock that has not sold within a 90-120 day time period to keep stock fresh.

Job Components:
Sell new batteries.
Invoice all units that fail to last warranty period.
Rotate batteries.
Collect money.
Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date.
Service each dealer.
Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships.
Complete documentation on time.
Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to distributorship.
Qualifications (list experience, educational background, professional licenses, certifications and personal competencies required to perform the job):
Prior sales experience highly desirable.
Good communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Current, valid state driver's license, Read, write and compute basic math.
Minimum 2 years demonstrated, customer service and delivery experience.
Frequently use independent judgment when making decisions.
Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Lift and/or move 50
lbs.
Exposure to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts Job Type:
